Dylan’s double wins it for Campile

Stanno Youth Cup

Dylan Whelen was the match winner for Campile United on Saturday as his double earned them a 2-1 win over Gorey Rangers in their Stanno Youth Cup second round tie.

Eoin Murphy hit the back of the net for Rangers, but it was Campile, who are joint top of the Premier Division, who prevailed.

The other joint leaders, North End United, suffered a heavy defeat to Division 1 high-flyers Forth Celtic, going down 6-0 to the Murrintown side.

St. Joseph’s also scored six goals without reply as they proved much too strong for Division 3 side Fastnet Rovers.

Cloughbawn had far too much firepower for Rosslare Strand, winning 8-0 thanks to a Daire Furlong hat-trick, an Eddie Kelly double, and goals from Aaron McManus, Aidan Denton and Dean Butler.

Darragh Roche scored an extra-time winner for Enniscorth­y as they earned a 2-1 win away to Curracloe United. Reece Dobbs got the other goal for the winners, with Ryan Corrigan scoring for the seasiders.

Enniscorth­y Town also made it through, with Danny Breen (two) and Bill Peare getting their goals in a 3-1 away win over Ballymurn Celtic.

Youth Division 1

Bridge Rovers joined Forth Celtic at the top of the MMI Youth Division 1 after edging out St. Leonards 2-1 on Saturday, with Ola Sofola and Corey Lawlor hitting the back of the net for the winners.

Kilmore United got another three points on the board when overcoming bottom side Wexford Celtic 5-1, with Conor Roche netting a hat-trick and Aaron Busher bagging a brace.

Youth Division 2

Gorey Celtic twice came from behind to share the spoils with St. Cormac’s in their Youth Division 2 clash on Saturday.

The saints scored through an Adam Meehan spot-kick and Dylan Brady, but Darragh Flanagan and Aidan Mulcahy (penalty) replied for Celtic.

Meanwhile, there was derby joy for Ferns United as they saw off Camolin Celtic 3-1 with goals from Haseeb Yasin (two) and Corey Dunbar.

Youth Division 3

Duncannon moved to the top of Youth Division 3 thanks to a 1-0 win away to Wexford Celtic on Saturday. Tomás Barron got the all-important goal for the seasiders.

Corach Ramblers fought back from a 3-0 half-time deficit to earn a 4-3 victory against Adamstown, with Cathal Cummins grabbing a hat-trick for the winners and Eoin O’Connor also hitting the back of the net.

Conor Walsh (two), Maurice Reynolds, Jonah Glowatz, Callum Berry and Gianni Forte got the goals for Glynn Barntown as they saw off New Ross Town 6-2.

Shane O’Neill helped himself to four goals as Wexford Bohs overcame Taghmon United 5-2, with Dale McGrath also getting on the scoresheet for the winners.
