Learn how to treat patients at Little Medical School

INSPIRE the next generation of doctors with Little Medical School tours this year. Based in Wexford town, the fully accessible STEAM Discovery Centre of Little Medical School encourages girls and boys aged 5 – 12 to step into the role of the Little Doctor and the Little Vet, and learn how to treat their patients.

As Little Doctors, students from Junior Infants to Sixth Class learn the tools and check-ups that doctors use to check a patient’s health. Through role-play activities and educational games, children can investigate how the body works and how the doctor and patient can keep the body healthy.

When students become Little Vets, they experience the important work that vets do every day to keep our pets healthy. Students will learn all about checking a puppy’s health, nutrition tips for dogs, and how dogs can tell the vet how they are feeling, all while taking care of their own patient.

Teachers are welcome to settle into our Teacher’s Lounge with free WiFi & complimentary tea, coffee and scones while the children are with our fully trained and Garda vetted tutors.

Combined school tour packages are available in conjunction with Bricks 4 Kidz, located next door.

SCHOOL Tours at the IOAC are fun, exciting and energetic. They are suitable for 3rd – 6th Class and there is a range of packages available to suit all budgets. Kids love the Outdoors.
