For the moment, Holy Communion will be distributed at the end of Mass only, and not at the usual time. For the moment, Eucharistic Ministers will not be needed to distribute Holy Communion. Holy Communion WILL NOT be distributed at the back of the church.

Thank you to those who have contributed during this lockdown time. Please bring your envelopes up to date, as those who send our bills did not cocoon themselves, I noticed, despite me telling the postman that I want to practice social distancing from all those bills.

NB: If you are displaying any cold or flu, or flu-like symptoms, please do not enter the church buildings – contact your local Doctor.

WEBCAM MASS – Tune in to Mass from Ramsgrange, via WebCam, on Facebook, on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings – Vigil at 6 p.m. and Sunday 10.30. The celebrant is Fr Brian Whelan. facebook.com/ RamsgrangeChurch

PARISH ON FACEBOOK

As and from next Tuesday, June 30, our website at: duncannonparish.com, will cease to function. The Server operators have decided to close their business and our website is one of those affected. However, we will have a presence on Social Media, via Facebook, at facebook. com/DuncannonParish/ So, in order to keep up-to-date with the ‘goings-on’ in the parish, join us and don’t forget to ‘like’ our page and share our posts.

ANNUAL PATTERN

The annual Pattern, scheduled for next Saturday, July 4, will take a slightly different course this year. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and the Government regulations pertaining thereto, and in order to assist with social-distancing, Fr John will bless the graves, on his own, two or three days after the scheduled date, so, please ensure that the graves are as clean and tidy as you’d like them to be, by Saturday, July 4.

CEMETERIES

In order to keep our Cemeteries looking their best, visitors are earnestly requested not to discard rubbish in the Cemeteries. Our Cemeteries are sacred resting places and it is our duty to care for and respect these places. Used wreaths, flowers and other unwanted items, when removed from graves, should be brought home with you. Thank you.
