Now that normal Masses have begun again, this is just a reminder of the Mass times in Duncannon. Saturday, Vigil: 7 p.m.m Sundays; 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Holydays; Vigil; 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. on the day. Tuesday to Fridays: 9.30 a.m. No Mass on Mondays
NEW CHURCH RULES
(For‘Our Lady’, Star of the Sea Church, Duncannon)
In keeping with Government regulations, please be mindful of the following.
1. As the dispensation from the Sunday and Holy day obligation has been extended, people with underlying medical conditions are encouraged NOT to attend Church Services for the time being.
2. Holy Water Fonts are not in use.
3. Observe social distancing and remain two meters from other people (except members of the same household).
4. Wash your hands with soap and water before you leave home.
5. Use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter and leave the church.
6. Follow the one-way system. 7. Only use every second pew starting from the first pew at the back.
8. Feel free to wear a face mask and gloves.
9. Do not touch any statues. 10. Do not shake hands. 11. Cover your mouth if coughing and use a tissue if sneezing.
12. Do not, under any circumstances, discard any face masks, gloves, tissues etc., in or around the church, cemetery or car parking area.
13. For reception of Holy Communion stand at a distance from the priest and extend you hand.
14. For the moment, Holy Communion will be distributed at the end of Mass only, and not at the usual time.
15. For the moment, Eucharistic Ministers will not be needed to distribute Holy Communion.
16. Holy Communion WILL NOT be distributed at the back of the church.

ZOOM TO WRITE WORKSHOP
Ready, Steady, Write is the title of the next Write by the Sea Literary Festival’s Zoom to Write Workshop, facilitated online by award – nominated novelist and scriptwriter Cat Hogan via Zoom on Saturday, July 18 (10 a.m. to midday).
The workshop will focus on three elements of the writing process: distilling ideas, breathing life into your characters and doing research and how to apply them in a practical and effective way to your own work. Cat is a seasoned facilitator and author, with two successful novels to her name. Her third book is due for publication very soon.

COCKLESHELL ART ROOM
For July we will open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. In keeping with Government Restrictions, only two customers at a time will be allowed into the Art Room.
Sanitising Gel will be supplied for your use. Queuing may be necessary as the hall way must be kept clear at all times.

ST JAMES’ GAA LOTTO
There was no winner of the €14,000 jackpot in last Tuesdays draw. The winning numbers were 2, 20, 30 and 31. St James’ Club had two match-three winners; David Carroll, Coole and Damian Foley, Nook. The jackpot for the next lotto draw, on July 21, will be €14,000 (reserve jackpot €6,800). TREASURE HUNT
Monster Treasure Hunt in aid of St Mogue’s Church, Fethardon-Sea, on Sunday, July 26, at 2 p.m., starting at the Castle/ St Mogue’s. You can drive/cycle/ run and the hunt will be in the surrounding areas taking approximately two hours. €20 per car/ team. Cash prizes, hamper etc, prizes also for best dressed car/ fancy dress team/funniest wrong answer. Covid friendly and great fun.

WINS FOR LOCAL JOCKIES
The local jockies, the Sheehy brothers, had a good week when Mikie had a good win on J P O’Bien’s trained Isotope at 5/2 in the Apprentice Handicap at Roscommon on Tuesday, July 7, and Danny had a nice win on T G McCourt’s trained Lady Scathach at 8/1 in.
The Wilkinstown Handicap at Navan on Thursday, July 9, and congratulations to Shane Foley, who had a good spell with many winners over the last few weeks. Well done lads.
COACHES

LIFEGUARD
A lifeguard will be on duty on the River Barrow at Graiguenamanagh for all of July and August from 2 to 4.30 p.m. and 5 to 7.30 p.m. The Lifeguards are now also on duty at weekends.
DUISK ABBEY
Duisk Abbey is open and Mass will be celebrated at the usual times at weekends and some
