ST MARY’S GAA

There was no jackpot winner for €11,650. There was no matchthree winner. Lucky-dip winners were Cian, Eoghan and Robbie Byrne, Ruth McNamara, Michael

Ferguson, Pat Hanley and Denis Cronin. The numbers were 1, 12, 24 and 29. Next week’s jackpot will be €11,800 and the draw will take place tonight (July 21). Hopefully you will have received a letter in the post about our future plans for the club. With this letter is a standing order form to buy a lotto ticket for the year. Because of the current concerns around the virus, it is very hard to sell tickets and we are hoping that as many people as possible will sign up for the lotto. These funds help us run our club and our plans to put in place a walking track this year for all the community to use. Anybody wishing to participate and fill in this form please let us know – Conor Roche at 087 2027202 or Niall McDonald at 087 2672108. You can buy tickets off all adult players/ coaches/committee members and in various outlets in the parish. So far your response has being good and we appreciate your support.

All our teams are back training and we wish them the very best. We have strict Covid guidelines in place and we urge all to please follow them. If players have not confirmed on our dedicated App, two hours before training, that they are ok, they will be refused entry if they turn up. It is a simple task but important if we are all to remain safe. Please do not turn up if you have any symptoms. Please wash your hands before training and follow the instructions of the Covid Officer and management.

We are delighted to announce we have qualified for a leader grant for our walking track. We hope to start and complete this project in August so all the community can use it for healthy fresh air exercise.

We thank all of those who supported the venture and we hope that we can organise an early summer holiday in 2021 to compensate.

All deposits paid will be refunded as soon as possible.
