ST. MARY’S (ROSSLARE) GAA CLUB NOTES

-

THERE WAS no jackpot winner of the St. Mary’s (Rosslare) GAA club lotto on February 9.

Numbers drawn were 10, 12, 15 and 23, and the three match three winners were Jimmy Wickham, John Murphy and Frank Codd.

The next draw is today (February 16), with a jackpot of €15,000. Lotto tickets are still available, and you can also enter via Clubforce.

Work is still ongoing on our walking track and concrete driveway.

Any donations for the new driveway are more than welcome.

Check our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for more news during the week.

WELL DONE to all the amazing children who joined in the Enniscorthy Hockey Club quiz on Saturday.

We had a great turn-out and lots of fun, with some great stories and jokes told as part of our spot prize competition.

We have some expert quizzers in our midst in Enniscorthy hockey, so hopefully we can have an event like this again in the near future.

Congratulations to all who took part, with our leaderboard reading as follows: 1, Aoibheann Fenlon and Ben and Cian Allen; 2, Leah and Zoe Fanning and Fleur and Alexi Gillot; 3, Áine Morris; 4, Noel Asple James; 5, Bruno and Oscar Kalis; 6, Amelia Murphy.

Our spot prize was won by Leah and Zoe Fanning, who told a funny story of a family relative who mistook a bottle of perfume for a nice refreshing drink!

Thank you to all those who joined in, and details regarding prizes will be circulated to parents during the week.

Our Six Nations fundraiser has taken off and our top five from the first weekend of predictions were announced on Tuesday on our social media platforms.

The leaderboard will be updated again today (Tuesday), taking into account the victories over the weekend. Keep an eye out to see if you have knocked anyone off the top.
