BIRD WATCH COMPETITIO­N

South West Wexford Family Resource Centre are running a free bird watch competitio­n. We have 10 free bird box nesting packs to give away on a first come, first served basis.

All you need to do is to decorate the bird box included in the pack, feed the birds that visit your garden, record how many different species you can spot, and take photos or a video of your bird box and the visiting birds.

With your permission we will then post your pictures on our Facebook page and the entry with the most likes will win some lovely chocolates, sponsored by Floods, Centra, Ramsgrange. If you would like to entre please contact Emma at 087 3605595.

SCHOOL ENROLMENTS

Ramsgrange Central NS is now taking enrolments for September 2021. Enrolment forms are available in the school, or on the school website ramsgrange­ns.com or by contacting Karen in the office at 051 389363 or ramsgrange­ns@hotmail.com

We are a three teacher school situated in the heart of Ramsgrange Village. Our school motto is ‘ Educating for Enrichment and Enjoyment’ and we aim to promote a positive learning environmen­t with happy children.

ONLINE COURSES

SWWFRC are still taking names for our QQI accredited online courses in South West Wexford FRC, Ramsgrange with courses in Early Childhood Care and Education, Business Administra­tion and Employment Skills due to commence over the coming weeks.

Classes take place online one night a week from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. If you are in receipt of a Social Welfare payment you should contact your local Intreo/ DEASP office as you may be eligible for funding towards your course. DIGITAL WELLBEING CHAMPION

Are you living with a Long-Term Health Condition? Do you need help to access online informatio­n or support? For example: Living well, diabetes education, stroke support groups, COPD and asthma supports, exercise supports, heart failure support groups.

Your local Wellbeing Digital Champion can help you to use a device (e.g. smart phone, tablet, iPhone, iPad or computer) to connect with family and friends, use the internet, set up an email address, use WhatsApp and Zoom, download and use apps etc.
