Free Training Courses for Women
CTEC is now running a number of free training courses that are open to women who are unemployed and not in receipt of Jobseeker’s Allowance. If you are eligible, you can register for either the QQI level 6 Early Childhood Care and Education major award course, delivered one day per week on a Monday, or the QQI Healthcare Modules programme which is delivered one day per week on Tuesday also online using Zoom. The Healthcare Modules course covers Care Skills, Care of the Older Person and Work Experience modules at QQI level 5 which are the qualifications you need for agency work as a Healthcare Assistant.
We also have places available on our
QQI Enterprise Start your own Business Course, another of our free funded programme open to women, either employed or unemployed. This course provides support and networking opportunities for women wishing to start their own business. Courses will be delivered 1 day per week from March 2021.
These programmes are co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning.
QQI level 6 Special Purpose Award in Training & Development
This new award has replaced the popular FETAC Train the Trainer qualification. It consists of two separate modules – QQI level 6 Training Needs Identification and Design and QQI level 6 Training Delivery & Evaluation. Special Offer for March courses - €500 for both modules. Day and evening classes available.
ATI Year 1 Daytime Course
The Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) ever popular qualification will start as a daytime course in March. So if want to train to work in Accounting, this is the course for you.
