Rosslare members ready for first AGM of Golf Ireland

THE ROSSLARE courses and clubhouse remain closed until further notice, but we remain hopeful of a return to casual golf as soon as Government restrictions allow.

Our course is getting a long overdue rest and will be in pristine condition on our return. Once again, thanks to Iain Wakeman and his team for all the continuous work being done on the course.

Some of our ladies’ committee members will represent Rosslare Golf Club at the inaugural remote AGM of Golf Ireland on February 27.

Golf Ireland is the combined association of GUI and ILGU, and the new organisation is already quite active in setting up new programmes, giving tips for beginners, and golf news.

The Golf Ireland website (www.golfireland.ie) will be the one-stop shop for handicaps, results and information once we’re back swinging, so it’s worth checking it out.
