TAGHMON ACTION GROUP

It is Spring, clean-up time again in our community and this year we are organizing it a bit different due to Covid-19.

This year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when we are undertaking this clean, we must comply with Government and Council guidelines, stay within your family or contact bubble and adhere to the 5km distance restriction.

To access your clean-up equipment: Contact Wexford County Council switchboard on 053 9196000 and ask to be put through to the Environment Section and ask to be registered. They will then explain about dropoff points for clean-up equipment required.

Once your clean-up has been completed please contact the Environment Section to arrange collection. Please ensure that all items collected must be placed in Community Clean Up bags issued by Wexford County Council and kept in a secure place.

We would ask everyone to play their part right throughout our village and parish in looking after their area. We all know many hands make light work. Getting this done soon particularly on our roads would be a big help before the growth takes a hold.

We ask all our sport clubs and organisations and groups/individuals to share this information as much as possible to get the word out there. Together we all make a difference.
