SALTMILLS AND ST KEARNS COMMUNITY GROUP.

The Saltmills and St Kearns Community Group are holding their AGM via zoom on Monday, March 8, at 7.30. If you wish to attend via zoom please email saskcg@yahoo.com requesting a password for the meeting and a member will be in touch prior to the meeting to send the link.

LAURA LYNN FEBRUARY CHALLENGE

Well done again to all of the staff at Dillon’s Londis for their fundraising efforts in aid of the Laura Lynn Charity. Laura Lynn is a hospice for children with life-limiting conditions and a residential care for children and young adults with disabilities who really need our help. Their version of the now famous Jerusalema proved very popular on Facebook as they highlighted many of the tourist attractions in the area.

COVID UPDATE

Please remember that not all members of the community have

Facebook accounts or are on various social media platforms and many still rely on their local paper for information. This is all the more important now that face to face contacts are very limited.

If any business, club or organisation in the area would like to keep these people up to date on any news or plans that might be relevant or to update on how the present Covid restrictions are affecting them please email the details to tony46murphy@eircom.net for inclusion in the weekly notes.

ST LOUIS DAY CARE CENTRE

The staff of St Louis Day Care Centre continue to work behind closed doors. We are unable to open as yet in light of the current conditions with Covid-19.

We are keeping close contact with our clients and assisting when we can. If you might like to avail of our services, Meals delivered five days a week to include the weekends. Home Baking by order, laundry and assistance with showering, Nurse to collect prescriptions and give advice, please contact us.

The areas we cover are Ramsgrange, Duncannon, Campile, Ballycullane, Gusserane, Horeswood, Fethard-onSea, Templetown. Please contact us at 051 389509 or email stlouisdaycarecentre@gmail.com. Dinners can be ordered by 10 a.m. each day, Monday to Friday.

WEEKLY LOTTO

The Weekly lotto has unfortunately had to be suspended because of the current Covid restrictions. Hopefully the lotto will resume again shortly and we will advise people accordingly.

TEMPLETOWN PARISH

Masses are still being transmitted over Facebook only; Pat Kent will update with Mass streaming times. There will be no public celebration of Mass.
