It wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit from Brendan O’carroll’s mad matriarch. Returning for two episodes, these new stories have everything that fans have come to expect from Agnes, and perhaps a few side-splitting surprises thrown in as well.

Tonight’s encounter finds Agnes hoping to finally get the better of old rival Hillary Nicholson, by beating her in a decoration contest.

However, her plans are soon left by the wayside, as the Amazon Alexa that Buster and Dermot got her as a gift proves to be quite the distraction.
