The Little Mermaid, The Gaiety Theatre

It’s an extra special year for the Gaiety panto as the Theatre is celebratin­g her 150th anniversar­y this year. A pantomime extravagan­za with singing, dancing and laugh out loud oceanic adventures, The Gaiety Theatre is set to be transforme­d into a stunning kingdom under the sea – join Ariel on her adventures as she dreams of escaping the sea and exploring the world above! Starring Ciara Lyons as Ariel and David Crowley as Prince Eric with legendary Gaiety Panto Dame Joe Conlan as Chief Cook Granny Haddock.

Aladdin, The National Stadium

Alan Hughes and Karl Broderick present Aladdin at the National Stadium. Following last year’s successful drive-in panto at Malahide Castle, the panto double act Sammy Sausages (Alan Hughes) and Bu y (Rob Murphy) will get aboard their magic carpet and y into The National Stadium, joined by Jake Carter in the title role of Aladdin and Paul Ryder as the ever fabulous Sparkles.

Cinderella, DLR Mill Theatre Dundrum

Written and directed by Geo O’kee e of Mill Production­s, Cinderella is played by Evelyn Shaw, along

with her best friend ‘Buttons’ played by Ben Waddell, as an all singing dancing comic partner. And then of course there is the handsome Prince Charming, Joe Wright, who is very alright! Spots galore, Panto Dame Garry Mountaine leads as the ugliest of the ugly sisters with the fairer of Fair City’s Matthew O’brien.

Red Riding Hood, The Helix

One of Ireland’s premier tenors, Paul Byrom returns to the panto stage along with a superb cast in this magical production. Red Riding Hood promises to be yet another hilarious production for all the family to enjoy with eye-catching sets, song and dance! Creating a new fresh script with plenty of twists, turns and adventure, join Red as she journeys through the magical pantospher­e: will she nally realise her true destiny and save Fairytale Land from the clutches of the darkness?

Olly, Polly & The Beanstalk, The 3Olympia

Pat Egan & Spotlight Production­s present their 17th annual pantomime at 3Olympia Theatre. Starring Fair City’s Ryan Andrews and Maclean Burke, social media star James Patrice, Erin Mcgregor and Zoe Talbot, it’s BEAN too long, but it’s time to join Olly, Polly and their dancing Cow in this hilarious beanstalk climbing, roof raising, action packed spin on the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk!
