This one-off feature-length documentary presents a truly stranger-than-fiction story, that of Robert Shafran, Edward Galland and David Kellman.
These three men had no idea that they were triplets, separated at birth and adopted by three different families who happened to live within a 100-mile radius of each other in New York State.
They came across each other at the age of 19, and their touching story soon became front page news. Fame followed, as they started up an A-list restaurant and even featured in a movie with Madonna.
However, the story takes a turn, and the events that follow ended up unearthing an unexpected secret.
