Catherine Fulvio

The owner-proprietor at Ballyknock­en Cookery School, Catherine has also been the RTÉ Guide’s food writer for more than ve years. Her cooking, which blends Irish home cooking with the sunny in uences of Sicily, has been a hit and she is a popular cookbook writer, TV presenter and tours the country to do cooking demos. Catherine Fulvio’s most recent cookbook, Tastes Like Home (Gill) is a tie-in to her combinatio­n travel-food TV show of the same name.

Donal Skehan

One of the most consistent­ly popular of the new media-savvy generation of TV chefs, Donal has been living in southern California for almost two years. When he’s not looking after his young son, you will nd him on the streets of Los Angeles, hunting for the latest food trends in that most food-trendy of cities for his YouTube channel. Dona; Skehan’s latest cookbook, Donal’s Meals in Minutes (Hodder & Stoughton) has 90 suppers to cook from scratch with just 15 minutes prep time.

Clodagh McKenna

From being a well-known face on the Dublin food scene, with her restaurant­s, TV shows and other foodie enterprise­s, the chef has relocated to London in recent years, where her very select suppers were the inspiratio­n for her beautiful new book of easy to achieve seasonal dishes. Fiona Uyema

Fiona is a brand ambassador for De Dietrich, creating bespoke recipes for the brand. After living in rural Japan for three years, she was completely immersed in Japanese culture and cooking. She promotes Japanese cuisine on TV and in newspapers and magazines. She founded her food company Fused by Fiona Uyema Ltd, a healthy and tasty range of awardwinni­ng sauces. Fiona Uyema’s cookbook Japanese Food Made Easy (Mercier Press) is a great way to explore one of the world’s great cuisines.
