- with Dr Eddie Murphy

With only one more week to go, the last weigh-in took place at the Castle in Balbriggan. ere’s a mixture of tension and excitement as the closing stages of Operation Transformation draw near with everyone looking forward to the 5k run and the nale on RTÉ. e stylists and fashionistas are working with the leaders and I can promise you next week you will be able to see them looking and feeling great. (I could do with a bit of a makeover myself!) Week 7 is always a bit tricky for the leaders and a few of them didn’t hit their targets.

Here are my messages and advice to the leaders: You are okay

is was my message for Jean, Paddy and her family. I didn’t want to or need to analyse her previous losses. No, Jean has the depth, resilience and supports to help her nourish and ourish.

Old wounds

I discovered an unresolved PTSD issue resulting from a work-based accident when Cathal was 18. is was the triggering event where he used food and booze to cope with his trauma.

Love yourself

Siobhán’s capacity to nd a growing place where she can love herself is like an acorn that is growing into a mighty oak

Life over work

My key message for Paul is to nd his life again and remember to inject some fun into everything he does.

From distraction to focus

When Pam moves from distraction to focus, good things happen. Knowing which state she is in and having this awareness will ensure she stays more focused, more o en. Results will then follow.
