This opener begins as we get to know Phyllis, who weighs up her options as she considers another run for Congress, while activists seek to push for the passage of the ERA.
In the second episode, Phyllis mobilises grassroots support in her ght against the amendment, and it’s not long before her stance causes rivals to rise up in opposition.
