Caught in the act
Harriet has another clandestine meeting with Malone, but it’s rumbled by Moira, who catches them just as it seems they are about to kiss. Harriet can no longer lie about her relationship with Malone and she confesses all, which leaves Moira stunned. Cain receives news that Malone is back on the scene and goes to confront him, telling him to leave the village for good. However, Malone insists he has a new interest in the area, which Cain wrongly assumes means Moira. When Malone breaks in to warn Moira to keep quiet about his a air with Harriet, Cain watches on and thinks they are up to something.
There’s more turmoil for Jamie this week as Kim tries to encourage him to forget about Andrea. However, when Millie draws a picture that seems to suggest she and Andrea hid out at Take A Vow, Jamie assumes this means Leyla had been helping Andrea hide and goes to confront her. Leyla insists she can’t help him as she has no idea where Andrea is, but there’s another possible lead when Kim tells Jamie that she received a mysterious anonymous telephone call. Leanna is saddened to see how sombre Liam is after he returns from his murder mystery retreat and vows to help him. With both their parents apparently down in the dumps, Leanna and Jacob hatch a plan to try to get Leyla and Liam back together.
