17-year-old Columba Mcveigh went missing on Hallowe’en night 1975. As a vulnerable teenager, he had fallen foul of both the British and Irish in the North during the Troubles. In 1998, the IRA admitted to abducting and murdering a group of people called ‘ The Disappeared’. It has been suggested that Columba was one of the victims.
