GAA IN SCHOOLS: The children of Achonry National School were treated to a visit from past pupils and Connacht under-17 champions

Conor Johnston and Eoghan Scanlon last week who brought along the Kilcoyne Cup. Tommy and Rosaleen Kilcoyne were also present as guests where Tommy had the opportunity to speak about the history of the cup named after his late father, Tom. Also on the day, the Coolaney-Mullinabreena GAA Club made a presentation of €500 worth of footballs and gear to the children of the school as an example of their commitment to promoting Gaelic Games in our local schools.
