The team is coming to Sligo in a few weeks time and they need all kinds of helpers from Skilled Tradespeople to General Labourers and to General Helpers in Catering and Registration. All 3 roles are on www.i-vol.ie.

Irish Girl Guides are currently looking for Volunteers Leaders to be part of a team running Girl Guides groups for girls in your area! There are a few ways you can help out- every week as a volunteer leader or a couple of times a year for

outings or camping. There is also the option of being a Unit Helper where you volunteer from time to time, not regularly. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends!

St Johns is delighted to be able to invite volunteers back to St. John’s Hospital once again to take part in their Befriending Programme. If you have a particular interest that you could share with resident e.g. playing cards, listening to music etc that would be great. Just 2 hours per week would make a huge difference to them.

While the Crib in Sligo Town has two project workers and a project leader, volunteer support is vital to their success! You would work alongside a professional youth worker on developmental activities, groups and/or drop in cafe. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

The Volunteer Ireland Awards 2022 are now open for nominations! Anyone can nominate and be nominated for a Volunteer Ireland Award. You can nominate an Individual, Group or Volunteer Manager. For more information and to nominate someone please visit: http://volunteer.ie/
