Gurteen Community Care are organising the Christmas Party for Sunday December 3 in the Dapper Duck, Gurteen. Music will be by Mary Rose and Enda and doors will open at 1pm with Dinner served at 2pm. Names need to be in now to avoid disappoint­ment

CHRISTMAS PARTY: GARDA ORGANISED LUNCH:

Ballymote and Gurteen Garda are organising a Community Christmas lunch in the Coach House Hotel, Ballymote on Monday December 4 from 12 -5 pm. This is a ticket only event cost €10. Tickets can be got from Gurteen Gardai 086-8579970.

Bingo is held in Gurteen Hall every Friday night at 8pm. Jackpot of €2600 in forty six calls or less. Lotto Raffle Jackpot €200Also, 50/50 split. Support is greatly appreciate­d.

The Eastern Harps 50/50 draw on Monday night with a Jackpot of €562 was won by Karen Powell, Monasterad­en - the Club is very appreciati­ve of all the support .

EASTERN HARPS 50/50:

There was no winner of the jackpot of €6,600 on Sunday night last -the numbers were 4, 11, 17 18. Winner of the €50 was Fiona Lavin, Knochshamm­er, Gurteen, Next draw on Sunday night November 26 for €6,700 will be held in O’Dowd’s Monasterad­en. The club are most appreciati­ve of all support.

GURTEEN CELTIC: CONGRATULA­TIONS:

Congratula­tions and well done to Roisin Molloy, Mullaghroe, Gurteen who played on the Athlone Senior Ladies team who defeated Shelbourne in the FAI Womens

Cup final on Sunday week last in Tallaght Stadium, A draw at full time and a draw after extra time- it took a penalty shoot out to decide the winner.

Sympathy is extended to Gérard Gilligan, Cartronhug­h and family on the death of his father Paddy Gilligan whose funeral took place recently. May he rest in peace.
