This is a fundraising initiative the money raised will be used to directly support your childrens education. Purchase resources inclding outdoor play facilities and sensory room. Projects such as the new playground and an all weather astro turf pitch are being explored and many more valuable and exciting initiavies that require a budget such as the expansion of IT euipment and additional outdoor play euipment. A weekly option of one line for €2.50 or 3 lines for €5. Please support this very worthy cause.

We are appealing to all Carraroe residents to join the campaign to reduce use of paper, packaging and recycle as much as possible. Your efforts no matter how small will assist the environment and reduce our national carbon footprint. Remember every little individual effort counts. Promote the campaign by displaying Carraroe car sticker available from 0892459123.
Now that the dark evenings have arrived perhaps it is a good time to think of our elderly or living alone neighbors and give them a telephone call to let them know you are thinking of them and available to assist if needed.

CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY: TURKEY TROT: TRANSPORT CONSULTATION TONIGHT:
Sligo Public Participation Network has organised a consultation workshop this evening Thursday, at 7pm in Clayton Hotel. The consultation will be facilitated by Patrick Mulvihill Consultant to garner the views of people of County Sligo on future transport needs in our community. This feedback will inform the Sligo County Council Draft County Development Plan Transport
Section and will also provide evidence to the proposed Transport Forum being established under Sligo Vision 2030 plan. All welcome.

West Hospice will hold the annual Light-up-a-Life event which will take place on Saturday, December 2 at 5pm in our Garden of Memories at Cleveragh Park, Sligo when the lights on the Memory Tree will be lit for the Christmas Season. Everyone is welcome so please come and join us and let’s remember those we have loved and lost this Christmas together.
