Next up for EJ Sligo All-Stars is Saturday’s away fixture against Dublin’s Bright St Vincent (St Vincent’s CBS, 7pm). Bright St Vincent’s are bottom of the North Conference, having just won twice all season.

One of their 10 losses was against EJ Sligo AllStars on October 14 last, with the Sligo side winning by six points, 97-91, at the Mercy College gym.

Meanwhile, the Summerhill College and Mercy College teams that won All-Ireland schools basketball titles recently were honoured on the night and introduced to the crowd.
