WESTERN DRAMA FESTIVAL:

The Guitar Club will play in Cloonacool Community Centre on Friday night kicking off at 9pm. Those attending are in for a lovely night of music and song, and tea and a bun.

Please note the following changes to Masses on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday 17th March, mass in Cloonacool on St. Patrick’s Day will be at 11.30am and Mass in Tubbercurr­y will be at 10am. This is to facilitate the Road Race taking place on St. Patrick’s Day.

A choir workshop delivered by Una Nolan (Director of Music in Knock) takes place in Tubbercurr­y Church on Wednesday, February 21 at 8pm. All members of our local and neighbouri­ng choirs are welcome.

CLOONACOOL GAA ROAD RACE:

noon. Runners, joggers and walkers all welcome. Entry on the day from 10.15am to 11.45am at Cloonacool Community Park. Fee - €10 for adults, €5 for children and €25 for a family. Changing and shower facilities available. Refreshmen­ts will be served afterwards. Prizes for 1st 3 men, 1st 3 women, 1st local man, 1st local woman, 1st junior and 1st national school runner. €100 prize for new men’s course record (sub 15:07).

Life after a bereavemen­t can be very lonely. Trained facilitato­rs conduct weekly Bereavemen­t Support Meetings at the Family Centre, Knock Shrine each Wednesday at 11am. There is also a Special Meeting for bereaved partners / spouses on the First Thursday of each month at 11am. No appointmen­ts needed. For more details, phone Monica 094 9375320.

A new season of Social Dancing begins in Cloonacool Community Centre on Thursday night at 8pm. This is a great chance to learn to dance and covers various dances such as waltz, quickstep and jive. Just turn up on the night and bring your dancing shoes.

The next connect café in Tubbercurr­y FRC will take place this Thursday from 10am to 12 noon. This is a free drop in Café, all welcome to come for a chat, meet a friend and find out what is happening locally.

BEREAVEMEN­T MEETINGS: SOCIAL DANCING: CONNECT CAFÉ:

Our Social group for people with Alzheimer’s, Dementia or memory loss and their family/supporters is back tonight, Thursday at 1.30pm. LOURDES PILGRIMAGE 2024: FASHION MASTERCLAS­S: OPERATION TRANSFORMA­TION:

Banada Abbey Hall Operation Transforma­tion offers the community the opportunit­y to take part in the event over the next 6 weeks.

On Monday nights fitness classes will be held in the hall with Geraldine Kennedy. Women from 7pm to 8pm, men 8pm to 9pm.

Monday evenings at the Hilary Room at 7pm. All instrument­s and players at all levels are catered for, young and not so young.
