Michelle Rocca in the Aras has a certain to ring to it

-

If Miriam hadn’t already got it ear-marked for herself, I would have liked to put forward another woman who would fit seamlessly into Aras an Uachtarain as the next President of Ireland. Be patient, and I’ll give you her name. But first a description. . .

She’s beautiful. She’s cultured. She has Italian blood. She’s enlightened. She loves poetry, much like the present, esteemed resident of the Aras.

Indeed, like the present, esteemed resident of the Aras, she has read poetry onstage at the 3Arena once upon a time. And appeared on the cover of an album, No Prima Donna, in 1994.

Those three little words sum up precisely Michelle Rocca — my nomination for President of Ireland if in the unlikely event Miriam changes her mind. Of course, Michelle would have to move to a smaller home, with a smaller garden, if the move to Aras an Uachtarain in Dublin’s Phoenix Park ever materialised.

The culturally astute Michelle Rocca has only recently returned from a trip to Morocco. Morocco? You see, I told you she was culturally astute. Michelle was there with two of her equally astute and beautiful daughters, Claudia and Danielle. They enjoyed a holiday at the swish Amanjena Resort in Marrakesh in early May, staying in a Moroccan-style villa in the sublime palm tree-shaded gardens.

And according to my Rocca Deep Throats, Claudia and Danielle plan on flying out later this summer to Los Angeles to visit their other sister Natasha, who lives in LA. The girls were also expected at the Forbidden Fruit Festival at the weekend. Festival? You see — I told you these Rocca ladies were culturally astute, didn’t I?
