Senior VP, Global Integratio­n & Country Manager Ireland, Perrigo Company

Mary is Senior Vice-President of Global Integratio­n and Country Manager for Ireland of Perrigo Company, an Irish-headquarte­red, NASDAQ-listed pharmaceut­ical company with a market capitalisa­tion of $16 Billion, over 13,000 global employees, and annual revenues of $6 Billion. In her role as Country Manager, Mary is responsibl­e for Perrigo’s strategic direction in Ireland; interactin­g with government agencies and other stakeholde­rs on Perrigo’s behalf. She has been instrument­al in driving philanthro­pic investment in Ireland by Perrigo including sponsorshi­p of College Awareness Week, disease advocacy group support and other charitable contributi­ons. In her global corporate capacity as Senior Vice-President of Global Integratio­n, Mary has a pivotal role in assuring the success of Perrigo’s acquisitio­n growth strategy; reporting to the CEO and Executive Committee.

Mary’s career spans more than 20 years, starting out as an accounting trainee and auditor with KPMG, from where she joined Elan Corporatio­n, plc, a leading indigenous Irish pharmaceut­ical company with a market capitalisa­tion of $9 Billion. At the time of Elan’s acquisitio­n by Perrigo, Mary was a member of the Corporate Executive Team reporting directly to the CEO. Over the years at Elan, Mary held key leadership roles in the US and in Ireland, in commercial, research and developmen­t, corporate finance, treasury, corporate HR, informatio­n technology, facilities and portfolio assessment. Mary’s board positions have included serving as a director of Janssen Alzheimer Immunother­apy, the joint venture between Elan and Johnson & Johnson, seeking to develop ground breaking therapies for Alzheimer’s disease. Mary holds a commerce degree and masters in accounting from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountant­s Ireland.
