ROCKING LIKE A WAGON WHEEL Glastonbury 2016, BBC4, 7.30pm, BBC2, 10pm

Here we go, rocking all over Worthy Farm at the annual weekend in Somerset. The festival has outgrown its modest roots, yet is still usually good for a controversy over whether or not it’s too commercial, is too geared for old people or not rocky enough. The BBC as ever gives total coverage across radio and TV. BBC4 has highlights of 1990s stars James’ set to open the Other Stage, and will also feature the Lumineers, Underworld and ZZ Top. BBC2 takes over from 10pm, with more highlights before broadcasting Muse and their Pyramid Stage set live.

ANOTHER NEW SHERIFF Banshee, Sky Atlantic, 10pm

It’s the final tense two episodes of the high-quality pulp thriller. Victoria, the FBI agent in charge of finding the serial killer of young women, has gone missing, and Sheriff Lucas Hood, who has come out of retirement and formed a pact with his successor Brock, must find her before there’s another victim.

SUBTITLED TENSION Dicte – Crime Reporter, More4, 9pm

The adventures of a journalist who returns to her native Aarhus from Copenhagen, only to find one of the most violent crime beats in the country, continues. Dicte probes the death of a young man who was found naked with his eyes gouged out, and a prison inmate tips her off that organ traffickers may be involved, but does he have an agenda himself ? She risks her life by posing as the mother of the murdered man in the hope of finding out who’s behind the mystery.
