A QUICK MOTOR ODYSSEY

Speed with Guy Martin, C4, 8pm The stuntman is off to Nevada to take part in the fastest road race on Earth. Instead of taking a shiny speed machine, he wants to race in a Ford Transit Van.

There’s just one slight problem, however. Said van has been written off after a crash.

Can a crack team of mechanics get it back into drivable shape, that’s good enough nick to take it into a road race?

A BRIGHT BUSINESS IDEA

Dragons’ Den, BBC2 9pm There are many people who have their brightest ideas in the toilet, but one Dublin wannabe has plumbed the depth of his imagination for this idea.

He has come up with a gadget that he believes can help children. Will he leave the den flush with cash?

Elsewhere, a former panelbeater has an innovative nail gel product he’s looking for the entrepreneurs to invest in.

Will he soften the famed hard noses of Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sarah Williams and Nick Jenkins, or will he leave empty-handed?
