TRIONA’S TRENDS

-

We’ve got it all going on in Trilliam Towers. My little threenager, Maxi, has started Montessori, so we’re now entering a whole new era, folks! I have to get him in for 8.30am. Every. Single. Morning! Well Monday-to-Friday, that is. I never really knew what peeps meant by ‘it’s a school night’. I do now!

So, my morning beauty routine is fast, but effective.

It’s all about the prep. Once a month, I have my hair coloured —I’m so grey. And, after that, I pop into Shavata Brow Studio in Harvey Nichols in Dundrum to have my eyebrows shaped and my lashes tinted, tel: (01) 291-0488.

I go to Karla or Justina in Genevieve (see genevieve.com) for a two-week manicure, which actually lasts me nearly a month. Top tip: I have my nails super, super short to begin with, then they really, really last.

This makes everything so much easier when I wake in the morning, because sometimes you have to be high maintenance to be low maintenance.

Then I just lash on a little bare-Minerals Complexion Rescue, left, €39, a tinted hydrating gel-cream with SPF 30 — which is now available in 16 new shades.

It has great coverage for something that feels so light. If I have time, I’ll do a bit of mascara, but mainly I just lash on my bagsy Lip Cocoon in Raspberry, above, €10, from Debenhams.

This tinted balm gives my lips a hydration hit as well as a hint of colour, and it doesn’t go all over Maxi’s head as I kiss him goodbye.
