LUSCIOUS LUNCHES

Lords & Ladles, RTE1, 6.30pm The latest edition of the culinary road trip sees chefs Derry Clarke, Catherine Fulvio and Paul Flynn travel the highway to Ballinloug­h Castle in Co Westmeath. Having been in their family for almost 400 years, Sir Nicholas and Alice Nugent take advantage of the stately residence’s ample space to host the annual Body & Soul Festival. Catherine casts her rod out into the castle’s lake in an attempt to catch some pike for the feast, before heading over to Maperath farm near Kells to find out how they pluck their ‘green goose.’ Elsewhere, Paul takes charge of the spit, spinning a kid goat hand-picked by Catherine.

BURIED TREASURE

Tutankhamu­n, UTV Ireland, 9pm Max Irons, Sam Neill and Amy Wren head the cast of this new four-part drama, based on the incredible journey that Howard Carter undertook back in 1905 that lead him and his team to discover the long-lost tomb of the now iconic Ancient Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamu­n.

The Americans, RTE2, 11.35pm The fourth series of the thrilling drama starts with a bang, as Philip comes clean to Martha about what really happened to Gene, although things grow more complicate­d when the FBI look a little harder at his suicide.

FACING THE FACTS

The Fall, RTE1, 9.30pm The drama continues to take its toll on Stella as she is forced to face some harsh truths involving her actions. Confronted by the depths of depression that Ann is facing, Stella clashes with Dr Larson when he insists that Spector be treated as a patient, not a prisoner.
