Holly’s not idle this Christmas with new show on RTE Player
It’s that time of the year. No — not you drink too much and get off with a co-worker at the Christmas party. I mean, deck the house with Holly. And the RTE player with Holly too. Holly Carpenter — that is. Your diarist can exclusively reveal (no change there then) that the former Miss Ireland (2011) will be launching a new beauty series called What Holly Would Do?, exclusive to RTE Player tomorrow. The beautiful beauty and lifestyle blogger of some note will become a star of the national broadcaster with this new programme — that will see the late Terry Keane’s granddaughter Holly share her tricks of the trade and her beauty secrets. (Most of the nation would have loved to have learned Terry Keane’s secrets. But I digress.)
“The main focus of the show is to spread a positive message about being kind to yourself while having the chats and going through some make-up looks,” Holly told me.
“I have a great relationship with my followers on social media and I aim to cover some areas that I get asked about most, like confidence, winged eye-liner and the perfect red lip,” she said.
“A lot of my followers suffer from anxiety and can feel the pressure from today’s society weighing them down at times which I can relate to. I really hope people enjoy the show and can come away from watching it feeling positive and inspired.”
And I’m sure we will.
