Ronan’s former mistress to marry

- Niamh Horan

SINGER Ronan Keating has announced that he and his wife Storm are expecting their first baby together — but someone else has a happy ending of their own.

Ronan’s former paramour Francine Cornell is getting married in the New Year.

The beautiful dancer — who had an affair with the former Boyzone singer in 2009 — will walk down the aisle in the coming months.

Cornell (31), from Leeds, England is to wed top British celebrity hair stylist Paul Phillips.

Now all parties involved in the love triangle — Ronan, his former wife Yvonne and his secret lover Francine — have officially moved on from the showbiz scandal that rocked the Irish entertainment industry when it was revealed in 2010.

Francine, who went on to dance with other hit singers including Robbie Williams, called her new man “the best partner in crime I could ever dream of ”.

She added: “I have the most thoughtful, kind, loving boyfriend. [I’m a] lucky girl.”

The couple are understood to have been introduced through mutual friends and have been dating for two years.

Ronan split from Yvonne after 14 years of marriage several months after it was revealed that he and Francine had been having an affair.

But last week Ronan was celebrating good news of his own — announcing that he and his Australian producer Storm Uechtritz are expecting a baby.

Storm (34) married the former Boyzone singer (39) last August and she shared their latest exciting news in a blog post, explaining why she had “passed on the mulled wine” during a recent trip with Ronan’s three children, Jack (17), Missy (15) and Ali (11).

When reports of Ronan’s affair with Francine emerged in 2010, the dancer said that when she had asked the singer if he thought she would see his name on her mobile phone in 20 years time, Ronan replied: “In 20 years, we will be married.” But the romance came to an abrupt end once Ronan’s wife, Yvonne, found out.

Yvonne is now in a long term relationship with cameraman John Conroy.

In a recent interview she said: “John and I love the bones of each other.”

She said neither of them felt any need to get married in order to prove it.
