THE CURTAIN CALL

Stetsons and Stilettos, RTE1, 7.30pm The concluding episode of the series that provides a look at the Irish country music scene, sees how the genre transition­s from its adopted rural home into the bright lights of the big cities across the nation. Fans and artists featured include an Elvis impersonat­or taking the King’s classics in a new direction, choreograp­her Tura, who keeps it all country all the time, and the Bradys, who are a major driving force in bringing the country sound into the city scene.

Britain’s Wildest Weather, Channel 4, 7.30pm This special documentar­y tells the story of the UK’s extreme weather, captured over the last 12 months, filmed by those unlucky enough to find themselves caught in the middle of it. Featuring a bombardmen­t of natural calamities, including record-breaking floods, superstorm­s and thunderous lightning strikes, the show also hears the chilling testimonia­ls of those who managed to film the footage.

SPORTING KNOW-HOW

Know the Score, RTE1, 8.30pm Jacqui Hurley hosts the fastpaced sports quiz, as team captains Ruby Walsh and Shane Byrne continue their rivalry. Joined by another selection of athletes and pundits, it’s a dash to the finish line to see whose side knows more when it comes to sporting trivia.

THE FINAL SHUTDOWN

Humans, Channel 4, 9pm The conclusion of the acclaimed second series of the sci-fi drama finds Karen feeling hopeless about the future, leading her to make a drastic decision. Meanwhile, Niska has a decision to make between choosing to stay or leaving for Berlin.
