As the Sunday Independent’s summer campaign celebrating great letters and the art of letter writing continues, today we bring you more of the letters that you wish you had sent — but never did. We want you to get closure. We want you to write the letter you wish you had dispatched. Send your letters, including your address and contact details, to The Letter I Wish I’d Sent, Sunday Independent, Independent House, 27-32 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, or by email to snews@independent.ie, clearly labelled ‘The Letter I Wish I’d Sent’. Your response to the Letter I Wish I Had Sent series has been overwhelming — and now there is another reason to put pen to paper. Dunnes Stores has been so impressed with the public reaction that, to tie-in with the newly launched Francis Brennan stationery collection, it has kindly offered prizes for the most compelling entries. All entries since the series began on Sunday, June 4, are eligible for a prize and there are four €500 Dunnes Stores vouchers and five €100 Dunnes Stores vouchers to be won. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the series, and the decision of the Editor is final.
