Viatel in €250k expansion

÷ IRELAND’S largest licensed microwave radio provider, Viatel has expanded its network reach to businesses in Northern Ireland with a €250,000 investment, continuing the company’s growth across the island of Ireland.

Viatel’s new licensed microwave radio network will service all of the key city business parks and the surrounding areas including Lisburn, Lurgan, Newtownards, Holywood, Newtownabbey. The new service will connect to Viatel’s core fibre network to deliver secure, high-speed, scalable bandwidth from 10Mbps to 1,000Mbps. “This network will deliver true enterprise class fibre like connectivity to the business in the Belfast region,” Damien McCann, director of sales and marketing at Viatel, said.
