€800,000 for sandwich firm

÷ AROUND NOON, a Newry-based sandwich business, has received €824,553 in funding from the Northern Ireland Growth Loan Fund.

The investment will be used by the company to expand in the UK market. Founded by Francis & Sheila Chambers in 1989, Around Noon originally made its sandwiches on the kitchen table of the family home. Today the business delivers high-quality sandwiches and snacks daily across the UK and Ireland. The Growth Loan Fund is used to provide funding to small or medium-sized enterprise­s (SME) based in Northern Ireland which employ a maximum of 250 employees.
