New house or iPhone X?

- PAT FITZPATRICK

The new iPhone X is great news for millennials. They’ve been banging on for ages about how it’s impossible to save for a house. But with a €1,000 iPhone in the shops, it’s clear they haven’t got a chance. Could they not buy a cheaper model, says you? Just asking the question shows you haven’t a clue, and that you are probably the kind of person who goes around making a fool of yourself.

Millennials know the score. When a new iPhone hits the shops, it is their duty to turn over the bank account to Apple. The other key act of devotion is to convince yourself that the new features make it worth the price.

Prepare for a lot of millennials saying that life isn’t worth living without facial recognition software. And prepare for them saying this from their parents’ houses. Because they’re not going anywhere, anytime soon.
