VODAFONE SAYS HELLO IN MASSIVE AD PUSH
AS part of a major global rebrand, Vodafone Ireland has embarked on its biggest-ever advertising campaign, the first instalment of which is called Hello. The new brand repositioning — ‘The Future is Exciting. Ready?’ is being rolled out in the 36 different markets in which it operates and the strategy focuses on a theme of optimism about the future.
The TV ad was created by Ridley Scott for the brand’s lead agency Grey London which has also localised it for the Irish market. Media buying, meanwhile, is being managed by MEC while Target McConnells is developing the brand’s first Irish campaign under the new positioning for Vodafone X, the brand’s youth platform.
