App firm Plynk to hire 40

-

÷ LEADING fintech company Plynk is to create 40 jobs across a number of different departments at its Dublin headquarters.

Plynk closed a €25m fundraising deal earlier this year with private investment trust Suisse Privee.

Charles Dowd, CEO and co-founder of Europe’s first money messaging app, said Plynk’s growth plan from the start was simple: “Become a verb, in every European language.

“Following our successful raise of €25m this mission has only intensified,” he added.

“We plan to expand further into Europe with eyes on Spain and Portugal next, and have every intention of becoming the defacto pan-European money-messaging app.”
