AGENTS REA Grimes are quoting a guide price of €1.95m for a residential portfolio of 11 existing dwellings at various stages of completion in addition to 13 development sites with lapsed planning permission at the Ashewood estate in Ashbourne, Co Meath.

Developed originally between 2004 to 2007, the completed development comprises approximately 248 residential units in total having been constructed in two phases.

The existing units being offered as part of this sale consist of one four-bedroom detached house, two three-bedroom houses, four three-bedroom duplexes, and four two-bedroom, owndoor apartments.

In terms of the sites with lapsed planning permission, there are six two-bedroom own-door apartments, six three-bedroom terraced/ end of terrace houses, and one four-bedroom detached house included in the sale.

Ashewood is located within walking distance of Ashbourne Town Centre in an established and mature residential area just off Hunters Lane and close to other residential developments such as Archerstown Wood and Brookville.

Ashbourne itself is a well-established satellite town of Dublin, and is 24km north of Dublin City Centre, 21km from Dublin Airport and 18km from junction 5 of the M50.

According to Census 2016, the town’s population stands at 12,679 people. There are five primary schools and two secondary schools serving the town, while the Ashbourne Town Centre shopping centre and the town’s High Street cater for the population’s retail and leisure requirements.

Selling agent Siobhán O’Sullivan of REA Grimes expects the Ashewood portfolio to appeal to developers, offering as it does a good opportunity to enhance the existing assets and development sites.

Siobhán may be contacted by phoning the offices of REA Grimes on 01-8350392 or by emailing siobhan@ reagrimes.ie
