Louis and the Duchess out lighting up Mayfair

-

You take the boy out of Kiltimagh but who says you can’t take the Kiltimagh out of the boy? Actually, you can. Last Saturday night Louis Walsh was spotted dining a deux in Sexy Fish in London’s Berkeley Square House — with the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, no less.

The charming if acid-tongued Duke of the X Factor told me that the ex-wife of Prince Andrew is “a great character.”

“She loves Ireland, Cork especially. I told her she was Irish with her red hair. She really is great fun,” added Louis who is no stranger to great fun himself.

Indeed a few days earlier in London, he was out for dinner with Twiggy in C London in Mayfair.

“She is fab,” Louis said of the former model who personified the 1960s for many. “I know her very well. She loves Irish music,” said Louis, who recorded in London last week a string of TV interviews — Celebrity Juice, Through The Keyhole, Loose Women and Pride Of Britain among them — to promote the X Factor.

The Irish superstar added that he is judging Ireland’s Got Talent in December with Jason Byrne, Denise Van Outen and Michelle Visage, before spending the Yuletide in Dublin.

Louis The Sun King will then ring in the New Year in his second (or is that third?) home in sweltering South Beach in Miami.

So, it’s official: you can take the boy out of Kiltimagh and plonk him on a beach with a bottle of X Factor 50.
