BEAN (1997) ITV2, 1.45pm Family comedy, starring Rowan Atkinson, Peter MacNicol and John Mills. The bumbling Mr Bean is working as a caretaker for the Royal National Gallery. However, his bosses are looking for an excuse to fire him, so they send him to Los Angeles, where he must look after an extremely valuable painting. CLASH OF THE TITANS (2010) ITV2, 5.20pm Fantasy adventure, starring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes. Demigod Perseus finds himself on an epic quest when Hades, the god of the underworld, sets his eyes on Andromeda, the daughter of King Cepheus. To prevent the vengeful deity from releasing the terrifying Kraken, Perseus and a band of warriors must track down and claim the head of Medusa.
THE HUNGER GAMES (2012) Film4, 6.05pm Sci-fi drama, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson
and Liam Hemsworth. In the dystopian land of Panem, the government holds murderous competitions that require a representative from their 12 districts to take part. Katniss Everdeen’s young sister is chosen, but she puts herself forward to take her place. Now, she must learn to survive the politics of the capital, while preparing for the fight for her life.
MY SCIENTOLOGY MOVIE (2015) BBC2, 9pm
Louis Theroux’s documentary sees him attempting to discover more about the highly-secret and infamous Church of Scientology. His plan is to interview some of its members to get a better sense about practices that they undertake. However, when it becomes clear that no one from the church is going to talk to him, he sits down with former members, and begins to dramatise the unusual events they have experienced.

THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES (1959) More4, 10am Classic mystery, starring Peter Cushing, André Morell and
Christopher Lee. Sir Henry Baskerville believes that he has had an encounter with the supernatural hound that supposedly haunts his family. He hires famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr Watson to investigate, which takes the problem-solving duo on a trail that blurs the line between the facts and mysticism. THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE (2004) TG4, 9.30pm Drama, starring Denzel Washington, Liev Schreiber and Meryl Streep. A US army unit is ambushed on the frontline during the first Gulf War, but Sergeant Raymond Shaw and Captain Ben Marco are among those who make it out. Some time later, Shaw is a vicepresidential nominee, and Marco is haunted by his memories of what happened. However, he soon comes to suspect that what he remembers may not be true, and that there is a conspiracy which needs to be defeated. THE RIVER WILD (1994) 3e, 11pm Action, starring Meryl Streep, Kevin Bacon and David Strathairn. Teacher Gail feels like her marriage is going through a rough patch, so she takes her husband and son on a rafting trip. Out in the wild they encounter two unusual characters, who are keeping secrets, leaving Gail desperate to get her family away from them.

THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES (2008) Film4, 6.50pm Drama, starring Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson and Queen Latifah. Fourteen-year-old Lily is unhappy with life after her mother’s death, so heads to the town that may have the answers. GASCOIGNE (2015) ITV4, 12.20pm Documentary, featuring Gary Lineker, Vinnie Jones and Wayne Rooney. Troubled former footballer Paul Gascoigne tells the bittersweet story of his rise and fall from fame in the sport, in his own words. There are also contributions from fellow players, pundits and those who know him personally.
WEDNESDAY
THE INBETWEENERS MOVIE (2011) E4, 9pm Comedy, starring James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and Simon Bird. Will, Jay, Neil and Simon decide to celebrate finishing school with a lads’ holiday to Malia. However, the trip turns out to be far from the wild party they expected, and they find themselves in a series of mad mishaps. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: SECRET OF THE TOMB (2014) Film4, 9pm Third entry in the family adventure, starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams and Owen Wilson. Museum security guard Larry finds out that the magic that brings the exhibits to life is fading. He now has to travel to London to find out a way to maintain it, with his tiny companions tagging along. RONALDO (2015) 3e, 10pm Documentary, profiling the life of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Cameras follow the Portuguese player over the span of 14 months, gaining unprecedented access to his personal life, inner circle and training. Ronaldo also offers up in-depth conversations, backed by never-before-seen archive footage.
THURSDAY
X-MEN (2000) Film4, 7pm Bryan Singer’s action-packed comic book adaptation, starring Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Ian McKellen, is the first of
a superhero double bill. Young mutant Rogue comes across fellow lone mutant Wolverine while she is running away from home. The pair find themselves caught up in an ongoing battle between the heroic mutant team, the X-Men, and their crooked counterparts, the Brotherhood. X-MEN 2 (2003) Film4, 9pm Bryan Singer’s superhero sequel, starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Wolverine sets out to find out more about his forgotten past, while the mutant school is targeted by a highlytrained military team, hellbent on rounding them up. Soon Wolverine discovers that his past and present are on a collision course, and it is up to him to save his companions. RIDE ALONG (2014) 3e, 9pm Comedy, starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. Ben is willing to do anything to prove to his girlfriend’s brother that he is worthy of dating her. However, brother James is a hardened, no-nonsense cop, which leads to Ben agreeing to go on a ride along. He is on edge while he seeks his approval, but a series of mad obstacles arise to make sure that this is one ride along that neither of them will forget.
FRIDAY
IRON MAN 2 (2010) E4, 8pm Comic book sequel, starring Robert Downey Jr, Mickey Rourke, Gwyneth Paltrow and
Scarlett Johansson (below). Tony Stark is confronted by a ghost from his father’s past, in the form of Ivan Vanko, a mad inventer who has created his own twisted version of the Iron Man armour. Tony must find a way to fight the villain off, while also dealing with his own personal demons.
SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK (2012) Channel 4, 12.05am David O Russell’s romantic drama, starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert
De Niro. Struggling former teacher Pat moves back in with his parents after a stretch in a mental institution. His plan is to make things right with his exwife, but things get complicated when he meets Tiffany, a girl who has her own secrets.

ST TRINIAN’S 2: THE LEGEND OF FRITTON’S GOLD (2009) ITV2, 3.15pm Comedy sequel, starring Rupert Everett, Colin Firth and David Tennant. The schoolgirls get caught up on a wild adventure involving Miss Fritton’s family past, one that sees them going up against an ancient organisation. Talulah Riley also stars.
JUST LIKE HEAVEN (2005) TG4, 9.30pm Romantic comedy, starring Reese Witherspoon, Mark Ruffalo, Donal Logue and Dina SpybeyWaters. Elizabeth gets hit by a car while on her way to a date and ends up in a coma. While she is out, architect David moves into her vacant apartment. Soon, her disembodied spirit starts haunting the flat, and he agrees to help her get back to her body.
