This is the link on the Charities Regulator’s website which allows you to search the public register of charities using either the charity’s name, charity registration number or charity reference number. It includes the charity reference number (CHY) of each charity. Bear in mind that a CHY is not the same as a registered charity number (RCN). A CHY is a number issued by the Revenue Commissioners to charities to whom it has granted a charitable tax exemption.
