The best new-car deals this January

AT Audi dealership­s around the country, the 181 Sales Event continues until the end of March while BMW Ireland are offering savings of 9pc on any of their new models until March 31, or until stocks last.

French carmaker Citroën is luring potential buyers with low finance and scrappage; offers are available until the end of this month.

Available until March, Fiat buyers have the chance to avail of 5.9pc APR PCP and HP finance available across the Fiat range. The Italian carmaker is also offering up to €3,500 on a scrappage scheme.

Ford’s ‘Clean Up for 181’ campaign comprises of a range of offers and reductions on a host of models including €1,000 off a new Fiesta and €5,500 off a new Focus Titanium.

Continuing with the success of ‘High Five’ for 172, Honda re-introduced the offer for 181. The latest generation of CR-V is available with a choice of five offers including compliment­ary leather upgrade, three years’ road tax and a €1,000 Deal Booster.

Book a new 181 Hyundai before January 31 and avail of either five years’ free servicing, an environmen­tal bonus of up to €5,000 or 3.9pc finance.

Customers who opt for a Jaguar before March 31 can avail of 2.9pc APR PCP Finance available or a €4,000 purchase contributi­on on all new XF and XE models, or 3.9pc APR PCP finance or a €3,000 purchase contributi­on is offered on the F-PACE models.

Kia is offering 0pc finance offer on Sportage, Optima, Niro, cee’d and Rio and 3.9pc APR on all other models.

Land Rover is offering 2.9pc APR PCP finance or a €4,000 purchase contributi­on on all new Discovery Sport and Evoque models registered before March 31.

For 181, Mazda have a range of offers including low-rate PCP finance from 0pc APR, upgrades up to €2,000 or three years’ free servicing.

The MINI 181 Winter Sales Event is offering savings across the range, including a 4.9pc APR and up to €2,000 deposit contributi­on on models ordered now and registered before March 31.

Mitsubishi’s recently launched scrappage scheme means a discount of €2,500 scrappage on all ASX models for vehicles registered by January 31.

Nissan offers include two for one: buy a 181 Nissan and they will replace it for a 191 Nissan free of charge. Other options include a €5,500 scrappage available across the range with 3.9pc APR finance and 0pc APR finance on the new Nissan Micra until March 31.

Available at dealership­s nationwide, Opel are offering an Eco Boost of up to €4,000 to motorists with 2012 vehicles or older to go green in 2018.

Customers looking to buy a 181 Renault can avail of 3pc APR PCP finance, three years’ servicing and three years’ road tax on all cars ordered and registered before January 31.

SEAT is offering up to €3,000 scrappage, from 0pc PCP finance and a threeyear service plan for €199 on all models.

To tempt buyers into their hybrid range, Toyota are offering a ‘Hybrid Guarantee’, so if you buy a 181 Toyota hybrid and change your mind later, they will swap it for the equivalent 182 petrol or diesel model for free.
