The person

It definitely has to be my 16-year-old son, Conor. He is, literally, the love of my life. He is a credit to himself, and he has been an absolute joy since the day he was born.

The memory

I have five brothers, and at night time, when it was pitch black, my dad would go down the back of the garden to the coal bunker, and we’d scare the living daylights out of him. It was definitely my favourite memory growing up!

The moment of the day

Going to bed. I know it’s so cliched, but since I work nights, I love going home, making a sandwich and sticking on

Forensic Files on Netflix. My happiest time of the day.

The song

Nightswimming by R.E.M. — it’s my favourite song of all time.

The movie

Stand By Me.

The book

I do love to read The Rules of Life by Richard Templar every so often. It’s a great mental pick-me-up, and helps to put things back into perspective.

The hero

Probably my brother Andrew. He was always bailing me out of situations!

The outfit

A tailored pants suit with killer heels. For a last-minute choice, it’s perfect, because you don’t have to worry about your tan.

The accessory

My son Conor bought me a watch for my 35th birthday from Fossil. I wear it nearly every day.

The hotel

The Montenotte Hotel in Cork. The balcony has an incredible views overlooking Cork. It really is an amazing spot, and the service is second to none.

The restaurant

Luna on Drury Street.

The gadget

My phone, of course!

The friend

Emma, my best friend for the last 10 years; she is fantastic. If I was to murder someone tomorrow, she is the person I would call. I won’t! This is hypothetical.

The hobby

I love walking. I put my earphones in, and take a break from everything.

The piece of advice

Trust your instincts, always. For me, everything in life has been a learning curve, and my gut feeling is always right.

“A tailored pants suit with killer heels. It’s perfect because you don’t have to worry about your tan”

“We ended up having to get three trains and a ferry home. It was a nightmare at the time, but looking back, it was so memorable!”

The pet hate

Slow walkers — they drive me insane.

The bar

House on Leeson Street.

The part of my body

I am quite petite with a small waist, yet I still have a bit of a curve.

The celebrity

Meryl Streep. She is an incredibly inspiring woman, although I would probably be too intimidated to go for a drink with her!

The virtue

Honesty.

The vice

Bad language — sorry, mum!

The smell

Love by Chloe. It has been my go-to scent for the last four years.

The taste

I am definitely a savoury person. My dad makes the best home-made chips.

The beauty product

Image Skincare Ageless Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler. It is super hydrating on your skin, and I put it on before bed every night.

The holiday

When I took Conor to Barcelona to visit the football stadium. It was a memorable holiday, to say the least. He has a fear of flying, and there was a storm that day, so he wouldn’t fly. We ended up having to get three trains and a ferry home. It was a nightmare at the time, but now, looking back, it was so memorable!
