AGENT Knight Frank is guiding a price of excess of €125,000 for a 1.53-acre development site with residential zoning in Cahir, Co Tipperary.

Located at the junction of Woodlands and Rosemount Court in Cahir, the land is zoned ‘New Residential’ under the Cahir Local Area Plan 2011.

On October 17, 2007, Tipperary County Council granted planning permission (Planning Ref: 06/1729) for the construction 18 semi-detached houses on the subject site and on a section of an adjoining land holding.

While this planning permission expired on October 16 last, prospective purchasers will note the site’s positive planning history.

Cahir Town is located on the River Suir and is situated just to the south of Exit 10 on the M8 Motorway, providing easy access to the wider motorway network. The town also benefits from being located on the Limerick–Waterford regional railway line.

Bus services to Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford also pass through the town.

There are also a number historic amenities and sports facilities within a short distance of the subject site, including Cahir Castle, the Swiss Cottage, Cahir Park Golf Club, Cahir GAA Club and Cahir Park AFC.

Additionally, the town is served by a number of well-established schools both at primary and secondary level. Further details in relation to the Cahir site can be obtained from Knight Frank by phoning 01–634 2466.
