Adam Harris’s Greystones

-

I travel a lot for work and when I am off, my favourite place to be is at home.

I am so lucky to live in Greystones. It’s a vibrant and friendly place right next to the sea, and yet so close to everything.

On Friday nights, I love going to The Beach House in Greystones.

It’s a busy but nice bar by the harbour. I’m going there since I turned 18, and this is where I catch up with my friends.

Saturday begins with my dogs, Harry and Bobby, hammering the door down until I let them into my room.

I like to soak up the atmosphere of the town with a morning coffee on Church Road. Then, I might pick up some stuff for lunch, and catch up with my siblings back at home.

My boyfriend, Daniel, and I love the cinema.

Nearly every Saturday, we head to Liffey Valley for a bite to eat and a movie. I like movies based around historical events or social issues, but often get dragged to horror movies!

Sunday is my favourite day.

I’m a crossword nerd, and always do one on a Sunday morning with my mum.

The Three Qs in Greystones does an amazing breakfast.

It is definitely part of any ideal weekend, followed by a bit of shopping or browsing nearby. We nearly always have a family Sunday dinner, to cap things off and prepare for the week ahead.
