Book: The Snapper

I’m re-reading The Snapper novel in preparation for rehearsals and it’s relevant and brilliant in comedically revealing the underlying strength of a workingclass Dublin family and our heroine, Sharon, in dealing with the circumstances that lead to her pregnancy. I won’t have a lot of time for reading, as throughout May I’m rehearsing The Snapper during the day, and performing in Assassins every night. The actor’s dream!
