EXPLORE THE ‘FOOD LOVER’S’ PLAYGROUND’
Food lovers from across Ireland will flock to the Iveagh Gardens this June for the annual ultimate alfresco feast – Taste of Dublin, inspired by Neff. Come and ‘play with your food’ this Thursday from 14-17 June.
There’s no question that Ireland is a nation of food lovers; we also like to take risks and reward creativity, diversity and novelty. Crucially, we also know how to enjoy ourselves, even in the ‘serious’ business of food! This has inspired the theme for Taste of Dublin 2018 — Food Lover’s Playground; Where food lovers come to play!
The restaurants and partners have really embraced the spirit of the theme. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enjoy their playground interpretation — from enjoying a cocktail on the top floor of a wooden tram to Jaipur’s entire menu composed of food in various shades of pink, this year’s Taste will be a unique year, appealing to all the senses.
Visitors will enjoy the sights, smells, sounds and tastes from a vast array of the best-quality restaurants, mingle with celebrity chefs, be educated and entertained at the various demo stages, enjoy an eclectic mix of live musical entertainment and sample product from the best bars and producers in Dublin City and beyond.
Among the restaurants participating this year will be Glovers Alley, Jaipur, Adrian’s Manor, China Sichuan, Nut Butter, Greenes Restaurant in Cork, King Sitric, Pickle, Roly’s Bistro, Saba, Suesey Street, The Port House and more. More than 25 leading chefs from home and abroad will be at the event, offering exclusive live demonstrations and fascinating Q&As at the brand new Neff Taste Kitchen, including Rachel Allen, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, the Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown, Rory O’Connell, Kevin Dundon and Edward Hayden. And that’s just a tiny morsel of who will be participating at this year’s Taste of Dublin.
